A Little About Us

After decades of industrial manufacturing experience, we took the “expect the unexpected” of unplanned shutdown as our personal challenge. Our predictive, connected devices drastically reduce unexpected downtime and increase production efficiency.
At IoT Diagnostics™, we’re “solving the unexpected” for our customers’ most critical industrial applications. We’re putting plant personnel in control of their daily operations with simple IIoT device integration.
IoT Diagnostics™ is Connecting Prediction to Production.

Remote Vibration Analysis for Predictive Maintenance.

IoT Diagnostics prides itself on having experts in the field of machinery reliability available to help solve problems that cause unplanned downtime. Although we use many different technologies, our focus is on oil and vibration analysis. Oil is the lifeblood of most rotating equipment and if a machine rotates, it vibrates. Monitoring the oil and vibration provides instant insight into the condition of machines and provides actionable information to maintenance and production personnel. A few areas of implementation are:
Large Motors & Gearboxes

Prolong the life of your largest and most critical assets with data-driven failure mode detection & prevention.

Accurately monitor fluid film bearings using patented strain sensors combined with online oil monitoring.

Air Handling & Critical Fans

Monitoring the health of this equipment is crucial for a clean and ventilated environment for workers.

Critical Process Pumps

Detect component wear and damaging operating conditions such as cavitation.

Meet Your Personal VIBEDOC.

Every electrical or mechanical problem generates a unique vibration frequency pattern that can be detected long before it's effects on the equipment can be seen.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Will Tudoroff has performed vibration analysis in almost every industry imaginable.  Starting out with IRD Machanalysis, one of the first companies to provide vibration analysis equipment and training, Will has worked for several leading condition monitoring companies in his career.  He is now ready to work for you.  As technology has changed in the past 25 years, Will has spent more time applying these advances to make vibration systems more effective and efficient in providing actionable information to maintenance and reliability professionals.

Most Common Vibration Questions.

Although vibration analysis has been around for decades, it still is considered by some to be somewhat of a mystery as to how it is implemented and made successful.

In this section we answer three common questions.  We are sure you have many more questions but these may spark your interest in pursuing a remote vibration analysis program for predictive maintenance.

What can I detect with vibration analysis?
  • Misalignment of couplings, bearings & gears
  • Unbalance of rotating components
  • Looseness of bolts, grouting or excessive clearance
  • Deteriorating rolling elements in bearings
  • Gear wear
  • Rubbing
  • Aerodynamic/Hydraulic forces (cavitation)
  • Electrical problems such as unbalance in motor
  • Resonance (amplification)
  • Eccentricity of rotating components
Can you always filter out background vibration noise?

Yes!  Since every electrical and mechanical problem generates a unique vibration frequency, you can program your vibration analysis device to pick and choose which frequency’s or problems to detect.

Do I always need an analyst to diagnose my equipment?

This might seem contradictory, but with the emergence of IoT the use of a vibration analyst to setup your vibration program is needed.  But, once in place and devices are programmed all detection and alerts run on their own.
